When I see someone rise to the top, especially when it’s a little surprising and almost makes you wonder how it happened, I have to wonder what’s going on. It raises suspicions in my mind. I’m talking about Taylor Swift. Now, I don’t listen to her and could honestly care less. I don’t think she’s even half the musician of so many greats the past century has seen. So why is she so popular right now? How did she become the most income producing artist in a single year? Who is she, really?
Whether you’re a believer and follower of Jesus doesn’t affect how Lucifer works. He is the great deceiver and he hates God, period. Satan also knows who wins in the end. Which is why he is running rampant right now to collect as many souls as he can. He’s doing a good job, sadly. Something delicious like a simple apple can be an extremely powerful tool for his purpose. He’s sly and cunning. For thousands of years the evil one has used people who have influence to be his apples. Taylor Swift is another one of them. She’s an apple. She looks sweet, innocent, and non-threatening. However, she’s a femme fatale, a Black Widow. The entertainment industry is used as a tool for evil. Is all of it evil? No, but much of it is. Why? Because it has influence. People tend to want what they don’t have. They see entertainers and want to be like them. People want what they have. Which is one of the 7 Deadly Sins.
Taylor is an outspoken supporter of the homosexual movement. Her lyrics support that fact as well as her actions. Here is a clip from one of her concerts.
Homosexuality is a sin, period. You may not agree and you may not like that accusation but it’s true. Those who live that lifestyle and those who condone it are guilty of living in sin. It’s one thing to commit an act of sin. It’s another thing to willingly continue to live in it. How do you ask for forgiveness of something that you’re not willing to stop doing? Sins of the flesh.
Satan is the prince of this realm. Earth is his playground. He is able to do a LOT on earth. God has given him restrictions, like being able to hear people’s thoughts. He does not know our thoughts, but he hears our words. He is not able to make us do things, but he is able to persuade us to do things. He can whisper to us and make us feel like it’s okay to do something. Luckily for people who know and believe and have given their life to Jesus, we have the Holy Spirit who battles against those thoughts for us. The Holy Spirit is our “Ride or Die”. The spirit is with us to grab us in those moments when Satan is attacking our minds and shake us saying, “HEY!! THAT’S NOT OF GOD!!! SATAN IS ATTACKING YOU! COMMAND HIM AWAY FROM YOU IN JESUS’ NAME”!! Lucifer has been invited into the entertainment industry because that industry has so much impact on people, primarily the youth. Young girls see Taylor Swift and thinks she is so pretty and sweet. They want to be like her. They want to be her. That’s how celebrities can be used to make people feel like they’re not good enough. Young girls who can’t hold a candle to Taylor can begin to feel bad about themselves. Then, they become depressed, which is of the devil. When God simply says, “You are enough. You are created in My image. You are perfect the way you are”. Satan wants to make you feel like you’re not any of those. So he uses celebrities to do his dirty work. To be his apples.
There is nothing special about Taylor Swift and as I stated in the beginning, I don’t even think she’s that great of an entertainer. She’s not near as good as some of the greats from the past. She’s no Whitney!! Anyhow, I felt compelled to pound the keys this morning to share my thoughts. It’s really been bugging me lately how popular she’s become. Often times when we see people like her rise so high, so fast, we will also watch them fall. Sadly, for Taylor, there will be a great fall unless she changes her ways. Travis Kelce is not that great of a person either. Anyone who uses their platform for influence over others is a bully and a coward (vaccinations). He may be good at football but that’s probably about it. I think of the jesters of the court from the past. You know what happened to the jesters, the entertainers, if the king doesn’t like them? They usually had them fed to the lions. You know who didn’t get praise and who didn’t get stardom and who didn’t get fed to the lions? The blacksmiths, carpenters, horse handlers, etc. Be humble, work hard and be a productive member of society. I love apples and eat at least one everyday.
