Mission Trips. What Are They and Who Are They For?

In 2015 my oldest son and I went on our first “Mission Trip”. I was hesitant and was convinced that this wasn’t my thing. The trip was to Guatemala to help do some work at an orphanage outside of a small town. I really had no idea what I was getting into or what to …

Sheraton Buganvilias, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Ahhhh, yes. Meheeko!!! We had decided years ago that we were done traveling to Mexico. It’s not a bad thing, it’s just that we had been to Cabo, Cancun, Cozumel and Playa del Carmen. Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. I’d Definitely Go Again!!

My wife and I like to travel. I mean, like outside the U.S. travel. The U.S. is awesome but there’s a lot to see on this rock and we want to see it all. Except Southeast Asia. She could care less. I on the other hand, loved Japan. Anyway, enjoying travel and being very frugal don’t go hand-in-hand. That’s where me lady comes into the picture. She’s a bargain shopper, even when it comes to travel. We are actually going to Maui, for the second time, this fall and are only paying less than $800 for both of us to stay for 6 days at an all-inclusive. That’s good.
