The mattress we just sold we had had for 8 years. It was a pillow top Simmons mattress. I like to sleep on a firmer mattress and my wife likes a more soft one. What was even more amazing was the PRICE!! We paid $1200 for that Simmons. I think anything more than 100 bucks is ridiculous myself, but that’s coming from a guy who’s slept on the desert floor in the Middle East. But, whatever. Anyway, we were impressed with the thousands of reviews, the price and their guarantee, so we took the plunge.
We’ve had this mattress for almost a week, now. There is a break-in period. They may not tell you that but the mattress has to be loosened up a bit. However you choose to do that is up to you. I simply marched all over it for about 10 minutes. That seemed to work pretty well. I’ve slept on similar types of beds at hotels and really liked them. It’s that memory foam stuff.
All in all, I like the mattress and feel it was a wise purchase. I highly recommend this mattress for folks in the market for a new one. If you don’t like it within 100 days, they’ll come and take it from you and give you a full refund. Then they donate that mattress to a homeless shelter. Pretty cool deal.
