The Three Fuels of Success

I used to see it all the time as a CrossFit affiliate owner and I’ve seen it with my kids and many other people who begin a new adventure in life. Think about your buddy who played their first 18 holes of golf (I don’t golf). Remember how they went out and spent thousands …

What Is Omega-3 and Why It’s Important

Fish is underrepresented in the average American diet, according to a study conducted by U.S. and German researchers. The FDA recommends eight ounces of fatty fish per week, which provides us with a healthy amount of omega-3 fatty acids. But the study shows that many people don’t get enough fish to provide the necessary omega-3s. While nearly …

Are You Trying to Lose Weight or Size?

My first January as a gym owner I got all excited knowing all the New Year’s Resolution people would be flooding the space on my floor. As years went by I quickly found that many people are not quite like me. Meaning, once it got hard or they found some other magic whatever, they quit. …

Maximizing Your Income the Scary Way!!

You know what’s funny? It’s how many people want to make more money but are afraid to actually try. People think to themselves, “Well, if I keep being the first one to work and the last one to leave, work hard and don’t take bong hits on my lunch break, surely, I’ll get a raise …

Fear

https://www.instagram.com/p/BR8XZjOBZsU/?taken-by=hoodlm_pathh For those people who are believers in the bible, they know that fear is stemmed from original sin. Fear is not something we should give in to because it is from evil and not good. Giving way to fear, however, is usually easier than fighting it. When we give into fear and let fear …

What Will Be Your Story?

Aim High to Achieve Goals

Goal setting is interesting. I talk to a lot of people on a daily basis. I truly do love listening to people’s stories and learning about those individuals. I usually like to ask people what their goals are. Where they plan to be a year, 5 years or even 20 years from now. It’s amazing …

What’s With All The Pills?

In recent months I’ve had plenty discussions with people expressing my personal opinion towards pharmaceutical medications. This subject matter is about as sensitive as talking politics or religion. People feel very strongly about their position and will defend it. Most the time the only defense is that it makes them feel better. However, the residual …

Why Life Isn’t Going Your Way

I’ve been trying to wrap my mind around issues buddies of mine have with being “broke”. Not physically, but in the wallet. It truly baffles me when a buddy will call or message me to catch up and they are telling me how bad life is for them. I try not to offer the “quick fix” but it usually heads that direction. Most the time the issue is money. They can't pay their rent, house payment or other bills. I’m thinking, “Dude, you’re 43 years old and you can’t pay your bills? Why”?

Wake Up and Be a Lion

Over the past few months I’ve been doing some major restructuring in my life. I’ve changed my social activities, who I surround myself with, who I strive to emulate, what I read, what I watch and how I live life daily.
